More than 500 memorabilia items from the 1916 Rising and War of Independence went under the hammer today.
Along with the original words and music for the National Anthem - Amhrán na bhFiann - handwritten by Peadar Kearney, have been auction for €760,000.
Other significant historical pieces including an original of the Proclamation of Independence dating to the Easter Rising in 1916. Not forgetting the Irish Flag that flew form the GPO
