Bag-snatching death penalty introduced in China
Guangdong province in China has introduced the death penalty for bag-snatching.
Southern province, neighbouring Hong Kong, 80,000 people had been convicted of ‘robbery’ and ‘violent robbery’ between 2003 and 2005 Even those whose life is spared will still face a mandatory three years in jail.
Amnesty International says it is a knee-jerk response that will not reduce crime.
China officially executes about 10,000 people every year, more than the rest of the world combined.
Can we do anything to stop this slaughter, I know if it were the Middle East America wound attack them like they did with Iran.
I wonder if we were all to stand united and refuse to trade with China would it do any good.
Death Sentences and Executions in 2005
U.S.A: 60 people executed.
China: 1770 people executed.
Iran: 94 people executed.
Saudi Arabia: 86 people executed.
The list goes on http://web.amnesty.org/pages/deathpenalty-stats2005-eng
Executions has drop in the US after Bush been elected President that’s only because on his run up from governor to the presidential elections he had more people executed to help win the elections.

Perhaps you could add Britain to your list - Zero executed.
I'm glad I live in a free country where the state does not kill me! (Except by mistake!!)
