Gene Pitney, has died in Cardiff while tour in the UK
The 65-year-old star was found dead just after 10am this morning in the city's Hilton Hotel by a long-term friend.
He would be better known for his hits 'Twenty-Four Hours From Tulsa' and 'Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart'.

I was sad to her of his death. First heard Gene in the early 60's when I was quite young thanks to my older sisters. My youngest child likes Gene also. His favorite was "Liberty Valance."
