Death is Knocking at the door

Death has taken up residents outside my sister-in-law’s house.
He has a long wait because she is a fighter.
He is annoying the rest of the family with his continuous presence.
Will he ever get tired and piss off and annoy someone else for a change not that I want him to inflicted the same torment she and her family are going through right now.
Why can’t he just click his fingers and get it over with instead of dragging it on.

Peace Campaigners have been Freed

The British Embassy in Baghdad has said that the three peace campaigners have been freed.
Two Canadians, 41-year-old James Loney and 32-year-old Harmeet Singh Sooden, and Seven-four-year-old Briton Norman Kember were freed in what the British Embassy described as a multi-national operation, involving British forces.
They are now believed to be with British and Canadian consular officials in Baghdad.

I want to inform you about a few changes that will happen within the next 2-3 weeks.After more then 3 years of a nice partnership with 4Players.de, we have finally decided to move our website to Super Computer International (a.k.a. SCI).There will be definitly a longer downtime of this website (up to 5 days) at the end of this month, so that we can move several gigabytes of data and setup the servers correctly. This simply will take a little bit time and can not be done within a few minutes. After moving the website to SCI we hopefully have a little bit more performance so that we can enable all the features that are currently disabled or limited (like playersearch). But this website was already hosted on a powerfull Cluster Network here in Germany, and it will not be very easy to setup something like this again. The power was really amazing compared to all the load and terabytes of traffic that you guys created every single day. But the TrackerTeam and SCI will do their best to bring you the best performance and fast loadtimes of our website. We will also get full control over advertisments so that we can show more international advertisments that are also interesting for the non-germans visitors. Another bad news is that we will also loose a few gameservers and we will not have a download server for our download area anymore. So a few things will probably be missed, but we hope bring some of this stuff back within the next months. We also have a lot of new features and stuff on our todo list, which should make many of our users happy. However, since we still don't know when and how the Army will release their own Stats-Tracking services, we will wait with this features, because no one here wants to waste their time and code new features if the army releases their own and better tracker and makes our work completly useless. So we will wait a little bit more and see what the DEVs and the army will do with the game. We still hope there is a place for us here ^^. If not as a stats-tracking website anymore, then probably as a tournament/ladder or simply the biggest AA Community website.It was not easy to make this decision, specially because 4Players always supported us, made advertisments for us and their support was absolutly great. In those 3 years we only had a few days downtime, all problems were solved very fast. And those guys there were always very friendly and helped us. However, because this website is primary visited by non-germans, it does not really make sense anymore to host this website at a german host, german advertisments and a german domain. Odd Jobs

A blonde, wanting to earn some extra money, decided to hire herself out as a "handy-woman"and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighbourhood.

She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.
"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said."How much will you charge me?" The blonde quickly responded, "How about 50 quid?"The man agreed and told her that the paint and everything she would need were in the garage.

The man's wife, hearing the conversation, said to her husband, "Does she realise that our porch goes all the way around the house?"

A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.

I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *677. It was about 1:00 p.m.
in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend.
An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on.


Lauren's parents have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car
on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called 677
on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away.
She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she and there weren't,
and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her.One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind.
They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.I never knew about the*677 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car.

Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe place.
You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them
(I.e. put on your hazard lights) or call *677 like Lauren did.Too bad the cell phone companies don't generally give you this little bit ofwonderful information.

Missing Dublin Man Found

I would like to express my sympathy to the family of missing UCD student
Richard Wellwood who was missing from Dublin since 11th March
and who was found deceased on 16th March.

Claddagh ring

According to 16th-century Irish folk lore, a fishing boat from the village of Claddagh was captured by Algerian pirates and the crew was sold into slavery. One of the crew was a young man by the name of Richard Joyce, who was to be married the same week he was captured. Instead, Richard found himself far away from his love and his homeland.
He was sold to a wealthy Moorish goldsmith who taught him the trade and, eventually, he became skilled enough to design a ring of special significance: the hands were for friendship, the crown was for loyalty, and the heart was for love.
Years went by, but Richard never forgot his sweetheart. Somehow, he managed to escape and make his way home to Ireland. When he arrived back in Claddagh, he discovered that his girl had never married. They were wed immediately, and the ring he gave her was the one he had designed and made while he was a slave.
Over the years, the design became extremely popular as a betrothal or wedding ring and took on even more significance. Worn on the right hand with the heart pointing out means that the heart is uncommitted. Worn on the same hand with the heart pointing in means that the heart is taken. Worn on the left hand with the heart pointing in means "Let Love and Friendship reign forever, never to be separated."
In the old days, Claddagh rings were worn widely by women on the west coast and off-shore islands of Galway. Often representing the sole major investment of a fishing family, they were handed down from mother to daughter. Now, many couples, even those not of Irish descent, are choosing the Claddagh symbol for their engagement and wedding rings. They are widely available, as are a wide range of other Claddagh accessories from earrings to cuff links. But one word of caution: it is said to be very bad luck for a person to purchase a Claddagh ring for themselves. It must be given or received as a gift.

St. Patrick

I just couldn’t believe that there are so many people that never heard of St Patrick.

St. Patrick of Ireland is one of the world's most popular saints.

Apostle of Ireland, born at Kilpatrick, near Dumbarton, in Scotland, in the year 387; died at Saul, Downpatrick, Ireland, 17 March, 461.

Along with St. Nicholas and St. Valentine, the secular world shares our love of these saints. This is also a day when everyone's Irish.

There are many legends and stories of St. Patrick, but this is his story.

Patrick was born around 385 in Scotland, probably Kilpatrick. His parents were Calpurnius and Conchessa, who were Romans living in Britian in charge of the colonies.

As a boy of fourteen or so, he was captured during a raiding party and taken to Ireland as a slave to herd and tend sheep. Ireland at this time was a land of Druids and pagans. He learned the language and practices of the people who held him.

During his captivity, he turned to God in prayer. He wrote

"The love of God and his fear grew in me more and more, as did the faith, and my soul was rosed, so that, in a single day, I have said as many as a hundred prayers and in the night, nearly the same." "I prayed in the woods and on the mountain, even before dawn. I felt no hurt from the snow or ice or rain."

Patrick's captivity lasted until he was twenty, when he escaped after having a dream from God in which he was told to leave Ireland by going to the coast. There he found some sailors who took him back to Britian, where he reunited with his family.

He had another dream in which the people of Ireland were calling out to him "We beg you, holy youth, to come and walk among us once more."

He began his studies for the priesthood. He was ordained by St. Germanus, the Bishop of Auxerre, whom he had studied under for years.

Later, Patrick was ordained a bishop, and was sent to take the Gospel to Ireland. He arrived in Ireland March 25, 433, at Slane. One legend says that he met a chieftain of one of the tribes, who tried to kill Patrick. Patrick converted Dichu (the chieftain) after he was unable to move his arm until he became friendly to Patrick.

Patrick began preaching the Gospel throughout Ireland, converting many. He and his disciples preached and converted thousands and began building churches all over the country. Kings, their families, and entire kingdoms converted to Christianity when hearing Patrick's message.

Patrick by now had many disciples, among them Beningnus, Auxilius, Iserninus, and Fiaac, (all later canonized as well).

Patrick preached and converted all of Ireland for 40 years. He worked many miracles and wrote of his love for God in Confessions. After years of living in poverty, travelling and enduring much suffering he died March 17, 461.

He died at Saul, where he had built the first church.

Why a shamrock?
Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Trinity, and has been associated with him and the Irish since that time.

In His Footsteps:
Patrick was a humble, pious, gentle man, whose love and total devotion to and trust in God should be a shining example to each of us. He feared nothing, not even death, so complete was his trust in God, and of the importance of his mission.

MISSING

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Richard (Richie) Wellwood

has been missing since the early hours of Saturday morning March 11th. His family are concerned regarding his whereabouts and are seeking help from the public in tracing him.

Richard came into the city centre from the UCD Students bar on the night of Friday 10th March with friends and went to Club M in Blooms Hotel.
After the nightclub closed Richard became separated from his friends. Based on CCTV pictures he walked down Fleet St. onto Westmoreland St. and turned left towards O’Connell Bridge between 3:30 and 4am on Sat. 11th March.
From this point we are asking for help in tracing his movements.
Richard is approx 6’3” in height with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing blue jeans, white Nike runners and a grey hooded top with the hood pulled up.
If anybody remembers seeing him at any stage that night or has seen him since then please could they contact Pearse St. Garda station on 01 6669000.
Remember no matter how small you think the piece of information may be it could be of some assistance to the investigation so please call.

Top U.S. Military Official: No Evidence of Iran Involvement in Iraq

Marine Corps Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff,
Said today he has no evidence the Iranian government has been sending
military equipment and personnel into neighbouring Iraq.

On Monday, President Bush suggested Iran was involved in making roadside bombs,
known as improvised explosive devices that are being used in Iraq.
And Defence Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld last week accused
Iran of sending members of its Revolutionary Guard to conduct operations in Iraq.

Today, Pace, the top U.S. military official, was asked at a Pentagon
news conference if he has proof that Iran's government is sponsoring these activities.

"I do not, sir," Pace said.

The Bush administration's statements about alleged Iranian involvement in Iraq
come amid increasing tensions between Washington and Tehran over Iran's nuclear program.

Rumsfeld, standing beside Pace, said today it is difficult to ascertain whether the Iranian
government is directly involved in sending military equipment and personnel to Iraq.

"As to equipment, unless you physically see it coming in a government-sponsored vehicle,
or with government-sponsored troops, you can't know it" comes from Iran's government,
Rumsfeld said. "All you know is that you find equipment -- weapons, explosives, whatever -- in
a country that came from the neighbouring country.

"With respect to people, it's very difficult to tie a thread precisely to the government of Iran.
As we all know, there are pilgrimages where Shi'a come from Iran and around the world to go to holy places in Iraq,
And they come by the thousands, sometimes tens of thousands. And so, that is also a difficult" to prove.

Bush wants to start another war.

George W Bush I know I should say President Bush, but I don’t like calling him a President because he doesn’t deserve to be called one. I think he has to earn the title first and he hasn’t. How can anyone call a person a president after he’s single handedly turned the world against his country.

Even now he is doing his best to start a war with Iran.
What he’s doing at the minute is trying to convince the rest of the world that Iranians are helping to arm militants in Iraq.

Mr. Bush said there was no doubt they were assisting them to make bombs used in attacks on American-led forces.

He said that the thousands of improvised devices found in Iraq in recent months, some of the most powerful had components that clearly originated in Iran.
That’s justification for him to go in and kill more innocent women and children.

So that’s another country for him to attack and more people to hate Americans. He is slowly but surly becoming the most hated man in the world.

If he were to be brought before the courts you would have boxes of files on people he had killed. He would die of old age before the courts would have gone halfway through the files.
He has Saddam and his men in court charged with killing 100s of people.
Almost the same as bush when he was governor he had speeded up the waiting list on death row. And he had his army kill women and children.

What has he got against the muslin community? He is beginning to sound more and more like Hitler. I think he won’t be happy till he has then wiped off the face of the earth.
When I see him on TV he makes my skin crawl, I get the shivers when I see that evil grin on his mug.

A great start to the F1 season right from the very start of the race almost every driver had a fight on his hands.
Two every evenly matched teams Ferrari and Renault, Alonso passed Schumacher in the pits.
It just goes to show it’s not all down to the driver's, the team play a major part in the race.
I can’t wait for next week race in Sepang Malaysia.
Today’s race had me on the edge of my seat I had to tighten my seatbelt in case I would fall off.

A Teacher's nightmare

A class of primary children started a class project to make a plant pot to take home. The teacher wanted to have a plant in it that was easy to take care of, so it was decided to use cactus plants. The children were given greenware pottery in the style of a clown plant pot. They painted them with glaze and had them professionally fired at a class outing so they could see the process.
It was great fun. They planted the cactus seeds in the finished planters and they grew nicely. Unfortunately, however, they were not allowed to take them home. The cactus plants were removed, replaced with a small ivy, and the children were then allowed to take them home. The teacher said cactus “seemed like a good idea at the time”...

Ferrari is back

Michael Schumacher gets his 65th pole position in Formula 1 equalling Ayrton Senna's record.

The two Ferraris are 1st Michael Schumacher and 2nd Felipe Massa.
This has to be Ferraris best car.
The in car cam went a full lap with Michael Schumacher and I have never see a car more perfectly balanced as his car.
The car was just stuck to the track, on very bend Schumacher went around it like if the car was on tracks,It’s clear that they have the best car by far.

Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso make the second row.
I think Button just lacks that little bit of go.

McLaren’s seem to be having trouble with their car. Kimi Räikkönen's car broke a wishbone and rearwing. It looked to be his wing broke 1st causing him to sapin as a reuslt braking his wishbone.whitch ever the cause means they are going to have to watch very closly. Juan Pablo Montoya was not happy with the Mercedes engine.

Bahrain F1

I have got to go to a F1 race; I just can’t believe that I turned the opportunity to go a race. Only twice in my life did I ever have the chance to go an f1 and I turned them down.
Ok well one of the chances that I turned down was worth it I got to spend a week on the river Shannon on a six birth boat with my wife and son. Now that was the life, sun beating down and just cruising at your leisure. But the next time a chance comes along im going to grab it.
So this weekend in going to travel to the Bahrain F1.
You can’t beat armchair travelling you always get the best seat at the track. Only thing is you miss out on the smell not just the smell of burning rubber it’s a mixture of smells.

F1 Starts this weekend.

Michael Schumacher says we are well prepared and want to do well right from the start of the season. Furthermore, we know the track fairly well as we tested there in February.

Renault: Renault wants to repeat last years winning ways. But with the new McLaren’s and Ferrari well that’s another?



McLaren-Mercedes: their happy with the new package.

Ferrari: will Michael Schumacher return to his winning ways? The new Ferrari is meant to be the mother of all cars.

Toyota: The problem is their two drivers, Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher. They just seem to have little bet extra that they need.

Williams-Cosworth: The combination of Williams, Cosworth, that doesn’t sound good.
Honda: everyone expects to them to win their first race this year.

Red Bull-Ferrari: Customer Ferrari engines replace the under-powered Cosworths in the team that did everything differently last year.

BMW Sauber: Sauber and the BMW engines sound good on paper, But?

MF1-Toyota The team was Midland last year with the Jordan name still on the cars
Toro Rosso-Cosworth: with a new paint job.

Captive Christian Peacemakers shown on Video

A video of three of the four men who were taken hostage last November in Iraq was broadcasted on Arab TV. Appear to be in good health there was no sound on the video but you could see the men talking to the camera. So it is not clear what the
captive’s demands are now.
The three “peace activists” two Canadians an English and an American man were shown on TV back in January. The kidnappers who call themselves Swords of Truth are demanding the release of all Iraqi prisoners.
Why isn’t the English and Canadien government doing anything to save the four men? I don’t expect the American government to do anything they never do. I know we are all doing our bit by holding prayer meetings and church services. But that’s not enough we got to put pressure on any local politician we know. Doesn’t matter if you never voted for him, just go around knock on his door and ask for help.

Are our security forces good enough?

Pictures of US airplanes at Shannon airport, if it was easy for the person to take that photo of the US planes, then it would be easy for a terrorist to shoot one.

I think it is time to put pressure on the Irish government to stop US flights before it’s too late. Not to mention it is coming up to the general elections and we just won’t vote for them.

The more the American forces land in Ireland the more it is leaving us open for attacks. There are far too many places for a terrorist to hit where they are large numbers of people.
And when it happens, not if it happens the government will not take responsibility

I wonder if the Irish government know how much a risk it is for the US air force to be landing in Shannon.
Shannon airport is wide open easy enough for any terrorist to hit. The security forces in Ireland have got to remember the people fighting against Bush and the American people are NOT AFRAID TO DIE.

All it takes is some nut not afraid to die getting in a truck with armour plate cabin stuffed with explosives, and drive through a fence and ram the plane. Or get a boat of the west coast of Ireland with some surface to air missiles and wait till the plane takes off.

You may think it sounds stupid but if someone were to tell you that a grope of men were going to fly planes into the twin towers you would have said it was crazy.
Those are easy things compared to taking over planes.

All we have to do is look back on some of the things that happened in Ireland and how easy it was for them to happen.

One that worth a laugh was when some guy flew a chopper into mount joy jail
And helped someone to escape, in other words our security sucks.

A shop owner in Herefordshire England has said that he will continue to sell golliwogs after police seized some after receiving a complaint.
I remember my little sister had one and I had an enamel badge that you got when you bought marmalade jam.
Then you had the one in Noddy he got the sack its amazing what people kick up about an innocent toy for innocent kids.
They even sacked Big ears for two reasons one is the Gary Glitter kind of reason and the other is just because he had Big ears lol.
If you own any of them now I think that they would be worth a small fortune.

Enda Kenny slips up

I have friends who are members of different political parties. And I can honestly say I am not a member of any or do I follow them.
But if one of them were to ask me to give them a hand canvassing, its first come first served. I will help depending on their views at the time.
Because I hate getting caught at a door and someone is lashing me out of it about something I done have a view on.
What I heat to see is one of the people I know getting it from all sides it kind of upsets me.
They say politics is all about dirty tricks and I would turn a blind eye to someone of the things I would see happening.
To day I read in the local newspaper that one of the people I know Senator Sheila Terry has resigned from the local Fine Gael, and this is why she is quitting. It’s because she got stabbed in the back and it hurt me to see that happen.
Because I know her and I have seen all she has done for people and what she did for the schools in the area.
She got shafted big time I know she is saying that she is shocked and so she should be.
But I think she seen it coming and this is where been nice comes into play. She did absolutely nothing about it never tried to stop what was happening.
Just goes to show she is too nice and couldn’t play dirty politics.
She gave up her seat Cllr so that she could give Leo Varadkar a hand to run in the local elections and she worked hard to get him elected.
The Leo got on the council and as far I know it was his turn to help her run in the general elections.
But he turned on her and is running him self.
She is resigning from politics when her term in the Seanad ends. I met Leo a few times and I must say I didn’t think much of him and I know a lot of the stuff he were meant to have done it was Sheila that did it.
I also think that if Enda Kenny wants to win the elections he would to learn how to hold on to his key players.

More headaches for Gerry Adams

Shinn Fein have their work cut out for them after yesterday’s arrests of tugs found with homemade pipe bombs.
This is going to the DUP the reason for not power sharing in Stormont
Three men arrested yesterday in Co Wexford are to be charged this with membership of the IRA on firearms offences.
Now it they are charged with members of a dissident republican group that’s a different story.
See this is where the media can do harm they reported that the men are expected to be charged with IRA membership and firearms offences.
But then go on to say, the men, who were under surveillance for (dissident republican activity), were arrested yesterday morning following a month long surveillance operation by the Garda.So let’s hope the media have the firs part wrong and we can still stay on the path for peace.

Dublin City Bombings1972

I have posted this story before in another blog,
the reason I am posting it here is in hope that someone
that knows one of the people in my story could pass it that
I am looking for them.
Up date: since I last up dated this story I have stayed in touch
with Justice for the forgotten and may I ad they are a great team
very good at what they do. Also have been to the inquest met
with other survivors and members of family’s victims.
I was able to put some light on 2 of the people that are in this story
I know now that they are alive and well.

This is my story,
On Friday the 1 December 1972, I went into Dublin town to meet my girl friend.
I was standing at the 44A bus stop at about 7.40.
I was waiting for my girlfriend’s bus to come in next to the 28 bus stop
(were bus driver George Bradshaw (29) and bus conductor Tommy Duffy (23)
lost their lives).
I was standing on the corner looking across the road at Sackvill Place when Dublin
was shook with an explosion and as a result the traffic was held up.
As I waited for the bus to come in a man started to talk with me.
We spoke about what had just happened,
and I said to him as soon as my girlfriend comes I'm going home.
I continued to tell him that I had a gut feeling that the C.I.E club
was going to blow up to which he said I was just been paranoid.
I turned to him and gave him a cigarette,
as I lit it for him a young girl walked passed me.
She was about 16 or 17 with blonde hair.
From the corner of my eye I caught sparks
fluttering (as you would see burned paper) that were coming from underneath a car.
The car was about 2 car lengths in from the corner with the road away from me.
I dived to the ground and put my hands over my head.
I felt a lot of pressure on me, squeezing every bit of me for what seemed an hour.
Then I felt the glass fall all around me followed by a loud bang. I can still hear it today.
I got to my feet and went to look for the man I gave the cigarette,
to but I wasn't able to find him.
Then I went into the café to look for the girl that walked passed me
and found the glass door with a silver bar was broken.
I went up to the counter and saw the girl on the floor badly injured.
The man from behind the counter was coming around to her as she was telling him
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to break the door."
I got a shock then turned to walk back out.
As I walked out I saw an old man with a cap on sitting with his back to the window.
The blinds were taping him on the back of his head.
I noticed that he was sitting up straight and never moved.
I went outside and saw a woman dressed in a light tan coat and a dark brown hat.
I was slipping on the glass as I bent down to help her up off the ground.
She started to scream and hit me.
I turned and saw something dark on the ground.
I think I have wiped that part from my mind but whatever it was
I seem to get very upset when I think of that day especially when I get to this part.
I dropped the woman and ran. Lots of people were running to the scene.
They were getting in my way trying to stop me but I fought my way out.

Gorge Bush Visits Afghanistan

I see Gorge Bush travels over seas to visit Afghanistan to try bring up his rates seen that they have dropped to an all time low.The guy is starting to show strain and its no wonder considering what he is after doing.He has torn the world to shreds, and turned the world against America there are very few countries that will side with him.He seems to be a walking demolition man; I have never seen so much hate in the world as there is to day. It is frightening just to think that at any minute it could spread to my country. The reason why it could spread to Ireland, the Irish government are letting the United Stats Air Force land at Shannon. Ok they say it’s only to refuel the planes, but the planes carry soldiers to invade Iraq and bringing terror on the Iraqi people.Also it is said that planes that land on the way back are carrying prisoners. It that is found to be true. Ireland is in breach for the Geneva rules. It’s just that I think that that man loves death even when he was governor he left a trail of death be hind him on the run up to the presidential elections.How you say? He updated the executions on death row, and when you see him on TV talking about all terrorist will pay he has evil grin in his eyes.Everyone knows you can never defeat terrorism, because we don’t know what a terrorist looks like till the last minute before he kills someone in view of cameras.If you kill a terrorist or a freedom fighter, then you will have another ten or more to step in to avenge his death.We all know what a terrorist is well at list I think I do. It is not some one that gives his life to defend his or her country that would be an army or a freedom fighter. Just like the Iraqi people trying to defend their country from the invading army’s like England and America.What we see now in Iraq is the start of a civil war started by America it think it was Bush snr that started the ball rolling.The worst thing that they have done was to take Saddam Hussein, President of Iraq out of the picture.He was not a terrorist of America he never lifted a finger to harm America.What he did to was to keep a lid on the troubles and keep the different factions away from one another, now the country is on the brink of a civil war.I think oil is the reason why bush went in, but it looks like it is going to cost a hell of a lot more American lives.Take a look at America now they are putting so much money into to the war, which they can’t even look after their own country, i.e. New Orleans. And I heard I don’t know how true it is but he wants the soldiers to take a pay cut, and expect them to give up their lives not for America but for oil.So bush can line his own pockets with takings and what’s more the aid workers that helped in New Orleans are still looking to be paid.I going to have to stop writing because the more I think of it the worse it looks.Why can’t we just have peace so we can all live a happy life?

sightings of UFO’s

This is a story I came across about a sighting of a UFO

Date: January 16, 2006 Time: 10:45 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, Last night just as I was turning out the lights and heading for bed. A very large glimmering object caught my eye to my right just outside my second story picture window facing west. I moved toward the window to get a closer look through the bare tree limbs to see a strobing group of lights just above the hills.

What was unusual about this group of lights was that the colors were a pale yellow, stationary. And very low above the hills in front of me. I quickly retrieved my Olympus C-740 Zoom digital camera from my office. The object was still not moving when I returned and seemed to be of incredible size, like two 747 jets placed together nose to tail. How was it possible that an object this large could stay in the sky, was my first thought. I placed the lens right up against the glass so as not to get any reflection and took three shots. That is when the object began to move very slowly towards the North heading over Cuyuga Lake.

Then what happened next was way out of the ordinary for me. I was so excited to be having this experience but had the overwhelming desire to go to bed, NOW. I did not even brush my teeth which I have done religiously for over 45 years. The next morning the camera was sitting on the entertainment console so I immediately took it into my office to download whatever I had captured. Out of the three pictures, the first one showed all the lights. The other two were totally dark.
